Take the Cake
After conducting thorough one-hour tastings, owner Mary Winslow creates cakes inspired by the invitations and dresses of her clients. Couples choose from an assortment of flavors and fillings including hazelnut buttercake, coconut cake and cinnamon mascarpone mousse.
The Baking Institute/Le Royale Icing
Renowned pastry chef Margo Lastik has joined forces with The Baking Institute to launch their new division of luxury cakes. Called the American line, these new icings and cake flavors will still feature Lastik’s signature luxurious, opulent designs. Everyone from Mayor Daley and Elton John to Oprah Winfrey and P.Diddy are fans.
Vanille Pātisserie
Designer Keli Fayard creates customized wedding cakes, giving each bride several sketches of personalized cake designs—a wonderful addition to the wedding album. On the wedding day the bride receives a miniature replica of the cake's top tier. By appointment.
